To my surprise, I was not allowed to enter the cafe and order from ala carte menu unless I am having buffet. All I wanted was a plate of noodles or friend rice, but the cafe service staff said they cannot serve me unless I'm having the buffet. I then went to the Chinese/Japanese restaurant next to the cafe, and they refused to serve me too. They said they only serve big groups of people, since I'm eating alone, they cannot serve me. I approached front desk and asked where I could eat in their hotel premise, I was told to go back to my room to order room service and eat my room. I was speechless. What kind of strange hotel policy is this?? Luckily I'm staying only 1 night here.
